Architectural Project Manager - Data Center Projects

Position Summary

Join our partner firm, Macgregor Associates Architects (MAA), an Invision Studio, as an architectural Project Manager and lead the design and delivery of high-performance Data Center - mission critical projects. In this role, you'll manage one or more projects from concept through construction, ensuring client requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and met. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, consultants, and AHJs, while maintaining MAA's high design standards.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Data Center design—including both tenant improvements and ground‑up development—along with proficiency in Revit and cloud‑based BIM collaboration. You should be comfortable navigating fast‑paced project timelines, coordinating construction administration tasks, and adapting quickly to evolving client needs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this dynamic, client‑facing role.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Manage one or more Data Center projects from design through construction, ensuring alignment with client goals, program requirements, and design criteria.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, internal teams, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and supervise project team members, ensuring successful coordination across all disciplines.
  • Oversee project documentation, including drafting, modeling, and production of construction documents (CDs), while upholding firm design standards.
  • Direct and participate in construction administration activities such as reviewing RFIs, submittals, conducting site visits, generating reports, and leading punch walks.
