About

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, field-based Furniture Interior Designer to support strategic sales initiatives with a focus on Casegoods and Collaboration (Wood) product applications. You will work directly with clients, dealers, architects, and sales teams to deliver thoughtful, innovative, and space-optimized furniture solutions. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives as a problem solver, communicator, and trusted advisor.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with client teams and stakeholders to design, space plan, and specify systems and freestanding furniture solutions
  • Translate customer needs and abstract ideas into clear, compelling digital renderings
  • Lead showroom visits, informal design sessions, and client presentations
  • Support strategic selling by crafting distinctive workplace solutions using wood and collaborative products
  • Coordinate large, complex projects with cross-functional internal and external teams
  • Travel throughout the Dallas region to consult on key client opportunities
Qualifications
  • 3–6+ years of experience as a Corporate Interior Designer in a design firm or dealer environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (preferred; relevant experience considered)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or CET Designer
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Comfort presenting to clients and managing multiple priorities
  • A positive, collaborative spirit with a passion for continuous learning
Contract Details
  • 1-Year Contract with potential for Temp-to-Perm based on performance and business needs
  • Competitive hourly rate starting at $38+
  • Hybrid role with regional travel in the Dallas area
