Residential Architectural Designer (Luxury Custom Homes)

Join a small, highly collaborative architecture team shaping luxury residential projects in Dallas! This is an opportunity to work on custom homes with a hands‑on, non‑corporate firm that values creativity, craftsmanship, and long‑term team relationships. Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert architect sketches into precise CAD frameworks using Graphisoft Archicad 26.
  • Review and verify construction drawings for accuracy and compliance with IRC and local zoning regulations.
  • Produce pricing and construction drawings from design concepts.
  • Collaborate on material selections, cabinetry, millwork, and detailing.
  • Support the team with technical expertise and creative problem‑solving.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of architectural drafting/design experience (ideally 5+ years).
  • Proficiency in Archicad (preferred) and Mac OS.
  • Knowledge of residential construction processes and local zoning regulations in Dallas, Highland Park, and University Park.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and adapt quickly.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, team‑oriented approach; familiarity with classical architecture terminology is a plus.
