Director, User Experience Design

For our client, we are seeking a Director, User Experience Design to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This role will shape the end-to-end user experience strategy across consumer, employee, web, app, and in-store touchpoints. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design vision, a practical business lens, and the ability to elevate UX quality while driving measurable improvements in conversion and retention. You will also help integrate AI into digital experiences and guide a multidisciplinary team through rapid ideation, prototyping, and review cycles.

Compensation: $148,600 – $245,400 annually

• Provide a transformative vision for user experience across the organization's ecosystem

• Set and uphold design quality standards through critiques and reviews
• Align design work with business outcomes like conversion and retention
• Lead the integration of AI into user experiences for consumers and associates
• Direct rapid idea creation through storyboards and prototypes
• Recruit and nurture a diverse, multidisciplinary UX team

• BA/BS in a design-related field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in UX or product design, with a focus on global e-commerce and retail
• 5 years of experience in people management
• Proficiency with AI prototyping and coding tools
• Experience across web, app, and in-store channels
• Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for design
