Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design for healthcare provider experiences across prescription CGM products from problem framing and workflow mapping through high-fidelity design, technical flows, documentation, approvals, and delivery.
  • Develop a strong understanding of provider workflows including patient onboarding, glucose data review, follow-up care, treatment decision support, therapy adjustments, and coordination across care settings.
  • Translate continuous glucose data, trends, alerts, and system states into clear, actionable provider experiences that support safe and appropriate clinical decision-making.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, User Research, Human Factors, Regulatory, Quality, Medical Affairs, and Legal to define user needs, requirements, feasibility, risk controls, labeling considerations, and approval needs.
  • Plan and support provider research, contextual inquiry, usability testing, and Human Factors activities, and synthesize findings into design direction and risk mitigations.
  • Facilitate workshops and present recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership, communicating the problem, evidence, tradeoffs, rationale, and next steps.
  • Mentor designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement.
Experience Requirements
  • 6+ years of UX or product design experience with prior Senior or Lead responsibility on complex digital health, medical device, clinical software, or other regulated products.
  • Provider-facing healthcare UX with experience designing for healthcare professionals and complex clinical workflows.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end product design across problem framing, workflow mapping, interaction design, usability testing, rationale, documentation, and cross-functional approvals.
  • Strong portfolio showing translation of complex health data into actionable experiences. Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with iOS, Android, accessibility, and design systems.
  • Experience with regulated medical device software, prescription digital health products, Human Factors or usability engineering, WCAG guidelines, and healthcare data visualization preferred.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, regulated, fast‑paced environment, manage schedules, prioritize work, communicate tradeoffs, and meet deadlines.
  • Disqualifiers include portfolios focused only on visual/UI without process, experience limited to non-clinical consumer domains, patient-only work without provider workflows, inability to explain ownership and outcomes, or lack of mobile and Figma proficiency.
Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, or related field.
