Job Summary

The Division of Hematology and Oncology and the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Tx is seeking qualified academic medical oncologists at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in three specialties:
Breast, Pancreas, Melanoma and Sarcoma to provide care to cancer patients at the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center Outpatient Clinics and Clements University Hospital inpatient services. The ideal candidate will actively participate and contribute to clinical research activities and teaching and supervision of UTSW medical school learners, residents and hematology/oncology fellows.

Position Highlights
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based, compassionate care to patients in both the SCCC Outpatient Clinics and Clements University Hospital
  • Participate in and help lead cutting-edge clinical research, with access to extensive institutional resources, clinical trials infrastructure, and collaborations with world-class scientists
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in a collaborative academic environment

Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an approved LCME medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine
  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
