Pediatric Hospital Medicine Medical Director

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Medical Director to join our growing Pediatric Hospital Medicine Team at Medical City Children's Hospital
. As a key leader in a high-acuity, high-volume tertiary care center, you'll work alongside a supportive team that values clinical excellence, innovation, and mentorship.

• Partner with the Regional Medical Director to enhance clinical quality and operations
• Support physician onboarding, education, and development
• Help shape department strategy and culture
• Foster collaboration with nursing, hospital leadership, and subspecialists

• Board‑certified in Pediatrics

• Commitment to quality, safety, and teaching

• PHM fellowship welcome, but not required
• Daily census: 20‑30 shared by two physicians + APP in summer months and 30‑50 by three physicians + APP in winter months
• Physician 12‑hour day shift covering unit across physicians from 6a to 7p
• Team participates in rotation of paid home‑based support night call to APP team
• Outstanding pediatric subspecialty support; 24/7 in‑house specialists in PED, PICU and CVICU
• Meditech EMR
