The IB Coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day functions of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program to ensure the campus meets the education requirements of International Baccalaureate Organization programme policies. This position is responsible for supporting implementation of the objectives of the IB programme, including professional development and teaching practices. Collaborate with administrators and staff to enhance student achievement through 15% effective coaching, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), targeted professional development, master scheduling, and the implementation of IB best practices.

• Directly responsible for IB programme and curriculum development, the IB 20% Programme Development Plan (PDP), and ensuring implementation fidelity in accordance with IB programme regulations.
• Assist the principal with ensuring the IB programme and curriculum implementation meets IB programme standards and practices, IB priorities are included in the yearly Needs Assessment and the Campus Improvement / Action Plan, and developing budget recommendations for IB resource purchases.
• Recommend and document all IB-certified professional development for instructional staff and coordinate effective professional development training that incorporates all IB updates and programme requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise the implementation of the IB curriculum framework across the campus by conducting classroom observations and providing feedback to individual teachers and facilitating campus professional learning sessions.
• Manage reports for monitoring compliance with IB, collect ongoing evidence of the school's implementation of IB programme standards and practices, and oversee the revision and implementation of policies related to the IB programme.
• Provide IB programme information to parents, prospective families, counselors, and community members.
• Maintain effective collaboration with district and campus departments, non-district partnerships, learning institutes, Texas IB Schools Association (TIBS) universities, and other community partnerships to support the implementation of the IB programme.
