- Coordinate with the CTE Department, Career Institutes, Teaching and Learning, Strategic Initiatives and School Leadership to ensure integrated programs.
- Align Career and Technical Education work with TEA approved CTE Pathways.
- Work with the CTE team, business partners, campus leadership and teachers to evaluate, improve and build quality CTE programs.
- Assist with certification and dual credit opportunities for CTE teachers.
- Help teachers in assigned areas identify and secure appropriate resources.
- Keep teachers informed of current and emerging professional trends affecting CTE curriculum and instruction.
- Support work‑based learning, Career Institute initiatives and district improvement targets.
- Design, develop and implement quality professional development for CTE teachers.
- Establish effective business partners to provide work‑based learning and internship experiences for Dallas ISD students.
- Plan and coordinate college and career field trips for CTE students.
- Facilitate Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) activities as needed.
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and a Career and Technical Education teaching certification.
- Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or Curriculum and Instruction preferred.
- Five or more years of teaching experience or related work experience in a CTE area; CTE administrative experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team, teach students and adults, and be self‑directed.
- Knowledge of careers, colleges and pathways in CTE.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Forms.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with district and internal departments.
