Jesuit Dallas Mathematics Teacher

Jesuit Dallas is seeking a qualified and innovative educator to teach high school Mathematics in a faith based environment. Candidates must enjoy working with adolescent males and their families. Successful candidates will possess a passion for forming adolescents, engaging in life‑long learning, and collaborating with peers in the pursuit of the school's mission.

• Form and educate young men to be open to growth, intellectually competent, loving, religious, committed to working for justice and physically fit.
• Teach, in cooperation with course level teams, five sections mathematics.
• Collaborate with members of the Mathematics department in ongoing curriculum development and review.
• Participate in all departmental and school-wide faculty formation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Participate in student‑centered co‑curricular, extra‑curricular, service, and/or retreat opportunities.

• Advanced degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Ability to teach AP Calculus and multivariate calculus.
• Experience teaching in a Standards Aligned Curriculum preferred.
• Ability to coach high school athletics preferred.

• Works in a fast paced environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a diverse array of contacts.
• May work at a desk and computer for an extended period of time.
• Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
