Our client in the Fort Worth, TX area is seeking a Senior Operations Training Specialist to design, deliver, and improve training programs that strengthen workforce capability and operational excellence. This role partners closely with operations, HR, and Learning & Development teams to assess training needs, create high‑impact learning materials, and support continuous improvement across a fast‑growing organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced facilitator with strong instructional design skills and a passion for developing employees in manufacturing or operations environments.
Responsibilities- Conduct training needs assessments in coordination with operations leaders and HR
- Design and deliver engaging training programs for frontline staff, supervisors, and managers
- Develop instructional materials, e-learning modules, job aids, and SOPs
- Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on‑the‑job training sessions
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
- Support onboarding and upskilling initiatives for new and existing employees
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Drive continuous improvement of training content, delivery methods, and learning systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert on operational processes and systems
- Partner with L&D, HR, and operations stakeholders to align training programs with strategic goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in training, operations, or learning & development within the manufacturing, logistics, or service operations environments
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Certifications in training or instructional design (CPTD, ATD, Kirkpatrick, etc.)
- Experience using LMS platforms and e‑learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate)
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into effective learning solutions
- Strong project management and organizational skills
