Summary:

** The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment used on the solar jobsite. This includes generators, pumps, and other machinery that is essential for the operation of the site.

Responsibilities and Duties:

*** Performing regular maintenance on diesel-powered equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues with diesel engines and other equipment.
* Repairing or replacing faulty parts and components.
* Conducting routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
* Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
* Collaborating with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
* Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Fueling of equipment and additional mechanical duties (changing tires etc.) will also be required.
* Minimize downtime due to equipment failures.
