- The Claims Specialist is responsible for handling various claims related to construction projects.
- Analyzing Construction Documents:
They review contracts, project documentation, and schedule to identify potential issues that could lead to claims. - Conducting Investigations:
Specialists investigate claims to gather necessary information and assess their validity based on contractual obligations and legal requirements. - Preparing Reports:
They prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for claim resolution. - Negotiation and Mediation:
They engage in negotiations with stakeholders to resolve disputes amicably and may also represent the company in legal proceedings if necessary. - Collaboration:
They work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and legal teams to ensure effective claim management and resolution.
- Strong Knowledge of Construction Principles: A deep understanding of construction methods, processes, and industry regulations is essential.

- Office environment with regular visits to project sites as needed.
- Occasional travel to supplier locations, job sites, or company meetings.
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry materials or samples up to 25 pounds occasionally.
