Electrical Superintendent (Solar EPC) – Primoris Renewable Energy

• Lead on‑site electrical construction for high/medium voltage systems and substations.
• Supervise field teams, subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project leadership.
• Act as a technical expert on electrical systems, switch gear, and interconnects.
• Support project planning, resource scheduling, and cost control.
• Mentor field engineers and foremen, and help drive continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in utility‑scale solar EPC field management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, prints, and contract documents.
• Willingness to relocate to project sites as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• OSHA 30, Procore, and other relevant certifications are a plus.

• Competitive salary: $110,000 – $140,000.
• Straight‑time overtime and regular rotations.

• Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean‑shaven, long sleeves, steel‑toe boots).
• Must pass a physical exam if required.
• Able to:
  • Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations).
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lb. (Use assistance for heavier loads).
  • Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel).
• Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE when required.

• Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops.

• Uneven ground.
• Obstructed pathways.
• Work at low/high elevations.
• Confined work spaces.

• Predominantly outdoor work.
• Exposure to:
  • Extreme heat or cold.
  • Humidity, rain, and other weather conditions.
  • Loud noise from tools and machinery.
  • Potential chemical exposure.
