Bridge Engineer

• Design and manage bridge projects for local, county, and state clients
• Lead team coordination, client communication, and internal collaboration
• Develop scopes, schedules, and project hours; ensure design compliance
• Provide technical guidance, perform calculations, and mentor junior engineers
• Manage routine and complex bridge inspections and prepare reports
• Review work for accuracy and document QC processes
• Travel for field data collection, construction reviews, client meetings, and public presentations
• Use industry-standard engineering and bridge design software (including Micro Station)

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Transportation/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 5–12 years of bridge design experience
• Active P.E. license (required)
• Bridge inspection experience; NHI Team Leader and/or SPRAT certifications preferred
• Experience with routine, major, and complex bridge structures; load rating preferred
• Familiarity with Alternate Delivery Projects
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
