Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a
** Manufacturing
* *** Engineering Manager
** located in
** Dallas, TX.
** Reporting to the
** Director of Operations
** the
** Manufacturing Engineer Manager
** Responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization
** What a typical day looks like:
*** Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
* Establish and improve process capabilities.
* Develop and maintain process documentation.
* Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
* Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
* Improve throughput in constrained areas.
* Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
* Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
* Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
* Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
** The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
*** Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
* A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
* Requires a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
* Demonstrates functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
* Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industry. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
