General Duties- Lead condition assessments and investigations of building enclosure systems, contributing directly to high‑quality building performance
- Drive envelope commissioning projects, developing specifications, checklists, and quality standards that set industry benchmarks
- Collaborate on design reviews to ensure constructability, durability, and long‑term project success
- Identify building enclosure challenges, propose effective solutions, and work closely with contractors and specialists to implement them
- Oversee and actively participate in enclosure testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project goals
- Monitor installation through inspections and testing, safeguarding quality and performance from start to finish
- Engage in construction meetings and collaborate with project teams, making a tangible impact on project outcomes and client satisfaction
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in architecture, engineering, or construction management
- A minimum of 10+ years of building envelope construction and/or consulting experience would be considered in lieu of educational requirement
- 5+ years of experience in building enclosure systems
- Strong understanding of building enclosure systems and design principles
- Skilled in tracking project costs, billings, and budgets to ensure financial accuracy
- Experienced in preparing proposals and establishing service fees
- Roofing or building enclosure credentials are a plus
- Engineering or architecture licensure is a plus
Remote, Dallas, TX or Houston, TX highly desirable.
The expected base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000
USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
