A fast-growing civil construction firm is seeking a Sr. Estimator to join its expanding team. The company specializes in large-scale infrastructure projects – highways, bridges, airports, railroads, and water systems that improve communities and drive progress.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze bid documents and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals.
- Perform detailed takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Research market trends, pricing, and competitive strategies.
- Maintain and apply historical cost and production data to support estimating accuracy.
- Participate in bid reviews and collaborate closely with senior estimators and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Heavy Civil or Water infrastructure projects.
- Experience with projects $20M+ in scope preferred.
- Proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid, Blue Beam, Agtek, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
