Recruitment Resourcer @ Ellaway Blues Consulting

We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer for a leading U.S. industrial manufacturer in Dallas, TX. The company is driving advanced manufacturing innovation across automation, aerospace, transportation, and energy systems. With a fully integrated production and engineering operation, the organization is investing heavily in next‑generation technologies and scaling its operational footprint.

Reporting to the Manager of Product Engineering, this hands‑on role is responsible for leading the development and optimization of precision machining processes and dimensional control strategies for high‑performance components. The Senior Engineer will ensure manufacturability of complex geometries with tight tolerances and translate engineering requirements into practical, reliable processes.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and refine machining processes for components with tight dimensional tolerances and high‑quality surface integrity
  • Apply advanced GD&T principles to interpret engineering drawings and ensure precise geometry, flatness, and alignment
  • Conduct statistical analysis and monitor process capability using SPC charts, Cpk/Ppk, and gauge R&R
  • Design and implement custom tooling, fixtures, and jigs to safely and accurately process challenging materials
  • Lead root‑cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous process improvements

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands‑on experience in precision machining and dimensional control, preferably with brittle or complex materials, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field. Proficiency in CAD/CAM, GD&T, blueprint reading, and statistical process control is essential. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills are required, along with experience mentoring junior staff and collaborating across teams.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical manufacturing processes, drive improvements, and have a direct impact on the company’s advanced engineering capabilities.
