Base pay range
: $85,000.00/yr - $/yr

We’re seeking a Heavy Civil Cost Estimator with estimating experience ranging from $5M to $10B to support projects across the country. Project types include heavy civil, highway, bridge, transit, rail, airports, and urban development.

The role involves reviewing design documents, proposals, specifications, and drawings; attending design development meetings; and assessing risk and cost impacts needed to develop accurate estimates.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop capital cost estimates for transportation/transit projects.
• Review and validate change orders.
• Maintain organized and detailed files, project records, and logs.
• Attend project meetings as required.

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Progressive and successful cost estimating experience in transportation projects.
• Proficient use of MS Office products, HCSS (Heavy Bid) estimating software, and Blue Beam.

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 5-9 years of estimating and construction experience related to heavy civil construction.
• Alternative delivery procurement experience.
• Understanding of the relationship between cost, risk, and schedule.
• Certifications such as CEP, CCP, PMP, or CCM are a plus.
