We are looking for a skilled Filter Design Engineer to join our RF design and development team. In this role, you will design and optimize RF/microwave filters and multiplexers that are critical to next-generation wireless infrastructure, including 5G, 6G, and advanced radio systems. You will work closely with RF, antenna, and system engineers to ensure high-performance, low-loss, and reliable filter solutions for deployment in cutting-edge telecom networks.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, model, and simulate RF/microwave filters (LC, cavity, ceramic, SAW, BAW, etc.) to meet system-level performance requirements.
Develop high-Q filtering solutions for sub-6 GHz and mmWave frequency bands.
Support the integration of filters into transceivers, radio units, and base station platforms.
Conduct electromagnetic simulations using tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, or Microwave Office.
Collaborate with antenna and RF teams to minimize interference and optimize coexistence between bands.
Perform prototyping, tuning, and characterization of filters in lab and field environments.
Analyze filter performance across temperature, power, and environmental stress conditions.
Generate technical documentation, test reports, and contribute to patents and publications.
Stay updated on advancements in 5G/6G frequency allocations, material technologies, and miniaturization techniques to drive innovation in RF filter design.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in RF/microwave filter design within the telecom, semiconductor, or defense industries.
Expertise in filter design methodologies (cavity, lumped element, planar, SAW/BAW).
Strong skills in EM simulation and circuit design tools (ADS, HFSS, CST, Microwave Office).
Hands-on experience in filter prototyping, tuning, and measurement using VNAs and RF test equipment.
Understanding of wireless communication standards (LTE, 5G , and emerging 6G bands).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience with high-power filters for base stations and massive MIMO systems.
Knowledge of multiplexer and diplexer design for multi-band systems.
Familiarity with advanced materials (LTCC, ceramics, acoustic wave technologies).
Background in thermal and mechanical design considerations for RF filters.
Experience in semiconductor or wireless infrastructure development.
