Overview

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Water Process Mechanical Engineer in North Texas. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal clients’ water and wastewater challenges locally and worldwide.

Base Pay Range

$/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and selection of process equipment, pumping systems, and materials selection
  • Development of facility layouts and construction documents, including drawings and specifications
  • Water and wastewater process modeling, mass balances, and design calculations
  • Data analysis and hydraulic modeling
  • Technical report writing
  • Construction services support
  • Field inspection of mechanical equipment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited university or college
  • 5+ years of experience specific to municipal water and/or wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Self‑motivation, team‑oriented work practices, strong data analysis skills, technical problem‑solving ability, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 10 or more years of experience including internships specific to municipal water and/or wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
  • Master’s degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline
  • Hydraulic modeling skills (AFT Fathom, Pipe‑Flo)
  • Construction or facility operations experience
