Job DescriptionOEI is seeking a full‑time Civil Engineer Project Manager with 10+ years of experience. The role includes mentoring junior staff, reviewing engineering calculations, conducting civil design, preparing construction plans using AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred), performing field observations, meeting City engineers and site development clients, attending City Pre‑Development and Federal Design Charrette Meetings, and performing QC of the entire project design.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in meetings with clients and subcontractors, draft addenda.
- Direct and monitor project team members and subcontractors’ compliance with agreements; review subconsultant and vendor invoices.
- Prepare project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget; communicate these to team members; monitor production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Conduct civil design and prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred).
- Monitor reports and schedules to ensure proper charging of manhours, costs, and expenses; communicate project progress to senior management.
- Assist with client billings.
- Coordinate with project team, regulatory agencies, the client, and other stakeholders.
- Develop engineering technical specifications, cost estimates, and related bidding documents.
