What You’ll Be Doing
  • Designing gas processing systems compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Creating and maintaining Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Conducting design calculations for pressure vessels, piping and other component selection using simulation software.
  • Specifying control valves, pressure safety valves, relief valves, and flowmeters.
  • Collaborating with controls engineers to integrate PLCs, SCADA systems, and sensors into equipment.
  • Supporting manufacturing with clear documentation and work instructions.
  • Participating in risk assessments, such as Hazard and Operability Analysis and PFMEA.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and optimizing processes in manufacturing and field settings.
About You
  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
  • Hands‑on experience with creating and updating P&IDs.
  • Skilled in Solid Works 3D CAD modeling software.
  • Experience using Compress or PV Elite software for pressure vessel design.
  • Familiar with ASME Section VIII boiler and pressure vessel codes and standards.
  • Familiar with ASME B31.2, B31.3 piping codes and standards.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
