We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer/Engineer for Mission Critical and Data Center building projects in our Dallas, TX office.

EXP is an award-winning international engineering firm offering great exposure to experienced staff and projects.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
• Preparation of load calculations
• Knowledge of relevant codes
• Equipment selection and scheduling
• Coordination with other disciplines (MEP/FP, Architecture, Structural)
• Understanding scope of SD, DD, CD documents and delivering appropriate documentation
• Working with project managers to meet milestones across multiple projects
• Meeting design and quality standards at a responsible charge level
• Managing work plans and deliverables within budget
• Writing studies and reports on systems
• Applying concepts of CHW, HW, WSHP, and flow systems
• Designing air-side systems like CV, VAV, coil, and fan selection
• Designing hydronic systems including hot, chilled, and condenser water systems
• Understanding and applying psychrometrics to projects

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• EIT preferred, working towards PE
• 3+ years of experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Preferred experience in data centers, mission-critical, or telecom industries
• Building design experience is essential
