A BIM Technician III takes a lead role in providing advanced technical expertise and support in the development and coordination of complex 3D models for engineering projects. This position requires a deep understanding of BIM processes, software and expertise in troubleshooting to ensure the seamless and successful execution of projects.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Associate degree in relevant field of BIM (i.e.: BIM/CAD Technology)
  and 6 years of relevant, progressive experience or 8 years of progressive experience without degree utilizing BIM to produce mechanic and electrical drawings in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection or electrical fields required. BIM related certificate earned from an accredited institution may count toward 1 year of experience.
• Intermediate working knowledge and understanding of BIM technology, interoperability of BIM software platforms, computing technologies and industry-specific standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Dynamo, Imaginit Clarity and Advanced Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required.
• Proven ability to understand and troubleshoot BIM related software.
• High technical aptitude with the ability to learn, understand and utilize various systems and processes.
• Comfortability with training others on systems and processes.
• Ability to influence or make decisions and solve complex problems using reasoning and judgment.
• Ability to function in a highly collaborative environment and in group projects leading less experienced BIM Technicians as well as work independently as needed.
• Adapts to changing work environments, priorities and organizational needs.
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and adjust to coaching.
• Proven ability to take initiative, be proactive and willing to help others as needed.

• Intermediate knowledge, understanding and proficiency in engineering design, A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards required. Knowledge applicable to a range of practices, project or program types preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Recap preferred.

• Prepares layouts, details, schedules, drawings and other documents of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection,…
