The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization.

The Advanced Technology Development (ATD) team creates and delivers innovative technology roadmaps and platforms to enable robust, cost-competitive and industry-leading TI products. This is a Research & Development group.

The QEV group (inside ATD) is responsible for creating, testing, characterizing, and stressing custom mixed signal IC’s as part of the ATD technology qualification process.

ATD QEV Product engineers have the following responsibilities:

Collaborating and working closely with Process and BU stakeholders to develop characterization and test plans to support early Process Technology nodes development and ramp.  ATE Test Hardware and Software development for a broad range of analog and mixed signal prototypes in support to qualify advanced process technology nodes.

Design Probe and Package ATE test hardware, using Cadence Allegro tools for custom schematics & PCB layouts. Design HTOL (High Temperature Operating Life) evaluation application circuits (Burn in boards) and generate application programs for bench evaluations and reliability stress testing.

Perform silicon validation & characterization testing during project development phase, to report parametric performance and yield opportunities for improvement.  This will require comprehensive IC circuit debugging, design & process validation, and failure analysis.  Work with Failure Analysis group (FA) to determine root causes of any reliability and qualification failures.
