Position OverviewWe are hiring Lead Process Engineers to drive the technical development, design integration, and execution of municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment projects across North America. In this role, you will serve as the process discipline lead on pursuits and projects, guide treatment process selection, develop process design packages, and coordinate with mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and construction teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and constructible solutions.
This position is suited to an engineer with 10 or more years of municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment experience who thrives in a design-build/EPC environment, enjoys solving complex treatment challenges, and translates process engineering into practical, field-ready designs.
Our Process team supports water and wastewater treatment work across the business. Projects may use chemical, physical, and/or biological treatment technologies, including coagulation and flocculation, filtration, UF/RO, chemical precipitation of metals, chemical oxidation and reduction, oil/water separation, and biological or biosolids treatment such as thermal hydrolysis and advanced anaerobic digestion. Work spans municipal and industrial water, petroleum and oil and gas, chemical, power, renewable gas, and data center markets.
This is an opportunity to lead teams and projects and contribute to our growing Water/Wastewater division.
The Kiewit Water Engineering team, which includes process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and control, structural, and civil disciplines, is a multi-faceted division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on collaborative Design-Build (progressive and/or fixed price) and EPC delivery models for complex water projects. The team brings project solutions to life across North America in the following areas:
