With a new office opening in Dallas, they are looking to expand their team and bring in someone ready to step into a leadership role from day one.
Whatyou'll be doing:
- Lead and review mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Establish design standards, details, and BIM workflows for the office
- Mentor project teams and provide QA/QC oversight
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors during design and construction
- Conduct site surveys, construction observations, and support RFIs, submittals, and OAC meetings
- Contribute to business development and proposal efforts
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a PE license
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering HVAC, building mechanical systems, and central utility plants
- Experience across sectors such as healthcare, government, commercial, manufacturing, or education
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems design, calculations, construction methods, and analysis tools
- Proficient in Revit/BIM, QA/QC drawing reviews, and Microsoft Office; specification writing is a plus
- Collaborative, client-focused, and organized problem-solver
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong decision-making skills
