CAD Designer

Next Gen Security is seeking aCAD Designer to join ourfast growing and dynamic team.

This individual willwork closely with the CAD Supervisor, Engineers, Account Managers, and Project Managers tocreate detailed drawing packages for various clients, assemble project documentation,handle in-house permitting activities for the Dallas-area,and provide support to other various offices throughout the region.

This individual will focus strictly on 2D design drawings using AutoCAD but may need to work with SOLIDWORKS on custom 3D printing projects as required. This position will be based in the Dallas office, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM.

• Associate’s Degreeorequivalent Certificate in Drafting & Design(or2 years equivalent work experience).
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2018or higher(knowledge of AutoCAD Dynamic Scales & Blocks is a plus).
• Proficient in creating and editing 2D technical drawings.
• ExperiencewithSOLIDWORKS or other 3D printing softwareisa plus but not required.
• Experience with Floor Plans, Riser Diagrams& Wiring Schematics.
• Ability to work independently& productively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to support multiple projects& meet multiple deadlines.
• Abilitytocollaborate&communicateefficientlywithalloffices intheregion.
• Abilityto use andmaintaina plotter.
• Ability to performoccasionalduties in the field (Field Surveys, Project Meetings).
• Abilitytowork&understand
