This opportunity offers competitive compensation, fast-paced interview processes, and exceptional career growth prospects within a premier U.S. telecommunications infrastructure enterprise.
Job Description:
As a Drive Test Engineer supporting nationwide 5G and LTE expansion projects via Integer Telecom Services Inc, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of field data collection, RF test tool operation, and network performance verification. Your day-to-day responsibilities include executing structured drive testing across designated regional markets, operating specialized RF measurement tools such as TEMS, Nemo, and QXDM, and identifying coverage gaps, dropped calls, and pilot pollution.
You will collaborate closely with RF optimization engineers, analyze drive test log files, and assist in implementing tuning recommendations. Furthermore, you will participate in immediate start deployments as project demands require.
- Execute structured drive testing and walk testing across designated LTE and 5G wireless network markets.
- Operate specialized industry-standard RF test tools and data collection software including TEMS, Nemo, QXDM, or similar suites.
- Monitor, record, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, data throughput, and voice call drop rates.
- Identify, document, and report RF coverage anomalies, interference sources, pilot pollution, and handoff failures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with RF optimization engineers, design teams, and project managers to resolve network bottlenecks.
- Maintain calibration, maintenance, and configuration checks on mobile test kits, scanners, and GPS hardware.
- Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, travel requirements, and field safety protocols across assigned regional markets.
- Participate in rapid-deployment wireless upgrade projects and immediate start assignments as scheduled.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional hands‑on experience in RF drive testing, field engineering, or wireless network optimization.
- Strong practical expertise operating industry‑standard test tools: TEMS, Nemo, QXDM, or equivalent RF collection suites.
- Solid comprehensive understanding of LTE and 5G network architectures, RF propagation, and air interface signaling.
- Familiarity with local market topography and carrier deployment standards across designated U.S. regions.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication skills.
- Willingness and flexibility for frequent field travel across open markets (Phoenix, Albuquerque, El Paso, Salt Lake City, Montana, Sacramento, Spokane, South Carolina).
- Mandatory legal work eligibility in the United States with immediate availability for project assignments.
