For our client, we are seeking a Field Application Engineer - A&D to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will partner closely with customer engineering teams to support design-for-manufacturability and design-for-viability efforts throughout the development cycle. The position focuses on translating customer requirements into practical engineering solutions, strengthening design quality, and ensuring alignment between internal engineering capabilities and customer needs. It also involves presenting technical capabilities, supporting pre-production activities, and serving as a key technical liaison in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Location:
Remote
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
Responsibilities- Provide DFM and DFV support to customer engineering teams
- Collaborate with customer designers to improve design quality
- Conduct drawing reviews and create supporting architectural notes
- Present technical insights on company capabilities and technologies to customers
- Facilitate communication between internal engineering teams and customer needs
- Assist pre-production teams with stack-up and DFM approvals
- Travel to customer sites to discuss technical issues and projects
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred
- 5-7+ years of experience in PCB manufacturing engineering
- Strong background in printed circuit engineering and PCB manufacturing processes
- Intermediate skills with PCB CAM software and related tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
