Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are currently looking for individuals for the position of Construction Analyst
Who We Need:Subject to the ultimate supervision, direction and control of Company, the Construction Analyst is responsible for oversight and administration of construction and construction related projects and the construction loan draw process for all assigned loans at an advanced level of ability and complexity. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project scope and any special requests. Review associated documentation, working with related parties to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Bank standards and regulations.
Communicate with Borrowers and other related parties for accuracy and completeness of draw requests to ensure a timely funding turnaround and to ensure a positive client experience. Facilitate the approval and funding of construction draws and provide independent evaluation of risk associated with construction loans.
- Oversee the construction draw process phase
- Review loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with standards and regulations
- Review loan agreement requirements for construction draw process
- Review construction consultant reports and title reports/endorsements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with appropriate parties regarding statuses and/or deficiencies
- Collaborate with responsible parties to complete the close out of the construction phase
- Maintain documentation in appropriate system(s) for accuracy and completeness
- Other duties and responsibilities as required; management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time
- 2+ years of experience in construction lending
- Experience with budgets of various complexity and general accounting background
- At least three (3) years of experience working in the residential mortgage lending industry preferred with a strong understanding of business processes/loan life cycle
- Must have a customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills and must assert high level of confidentiality.
