Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Tax Manager to lead, manage, and deliver exceptional tax services. The Tax Manager will serve as a trusted business advisor to our clients, aiming to maximize and achieve qualitative outcomes. Uphold the firm's vision, mission, operating values, and strategic road map. Foster a growth-oriented, positive, and encouraging work environment, ensuring employees and management adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to deliver excellent tax planning, consulting, and specialized expertise.
Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day tax systems and processes. Provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for key activities.
Lead the coordination and integration of efforts among accounting, tax, administrative support, and customer service teams to ensure smoother workflows and more cost-effective business processes.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and international tax laws through established systems designed for accurate, timely reporting.
Provide innovative tax planning strategies and review complex income tax returns for both individual and business clients.
Manage and coordinate tax audits, working closely with the relevant internal partners.
Monitor current and impending changes to tax regulations, making appropriate updates to firm policies and client strategies. Communicate the effects of these developments to the tax team, clients, and other members of management.
Work with the accounting team to maintain accurate tax balances on General Ledgers.
Assist with accounting and other special (some non-tax related) projects when necessary.
Work with the administrative team to oversee and properly safeguard all information data requests received from clients.
