KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Property Tax Compliance to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice.

Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance

* Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation

* Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS)

* Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies

Qualifications:

* Minimum three years of recent work experience, including a minimum of two years of experience in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS

* Bachelor's degree required. J.D., LL.M. in taxation; master's in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred

* Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax

* Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution related to property tax
