Dallas County Votes is seeking an entry-level Juvenile Detention Officer to provide direct supervision to youths in a 24-hour detention facility in Dallas. The role emphasizes safety, health and welfare in compliance with departmental policies.
You will counseling youths, enforce rules, assist with admissions, transports, and daily programs, and may be required to perform restraints per TJJD standards. Strong communication and a valid Texas driver’s license are essential.
