Position Overview:
The Quality & Accreditation Program Lead is responsible for ensuring that Senderra maintains full accreditation with URAC (Specialty and Mail Order), ACHC, and NABP’s Digital Pharmacy (VIPPS) and consistently operates at the highest quality and compliance standards. This director-level individual contributor role oversees cross-functional quality improvement initiatives, leads all accreditation and audit activities, and ensures that internal processes align with both regulatory requirements and operational best practices.
The Program Lead acts as Senderra’s accreditation authority, working closely with operations, clinical, compliance, and executive leadership to drive sustained accreditation and continual improvement across the organization. This role may evolve into a team leadership position as quality and accreditation needs expand.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or related field. Advanced credentials such as a Pharm
D or master's degree in a health field are a plus (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Experience:
Minimum 5–7 years in specialty or mail-order pharmacy, with at least 3 years of direct experience managing or coordinating accreditation programs (URAC, ACHC, VIPPS). Experience working across departments to meet audit or compliance goals is essential.
Accreditation Expertise:
In-depth and practical knowledge of pharmacy accreditation programs, with a proven ability to lead organizations through successful surveys. Familiarity with the standards, documentation, and operational requirements of URAC (Specialty and Mail Order), ACHC, and NABP (VIPPS).
Operational Fluency:
Comfort working across pharmacy operations, clinical programs, customer service, and IT to align processes with accreditation standards. Experience using pharmacy information systems to support quality workflows.
Project Leadership:
Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects in a healthcare or pharmacy environment. Strong skills in planning, documentation, communication, and execution.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Ability to analyze operational, quality, and compliance data. Skilled in root cause analysis, trend identification, and metric-based improvement.
Communication & Influence:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to translate complex standards into actionable guidance for team members. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, external auditors, and frontline staff alike.
Professionalism & Ethics:
High degree of integrity and discretion. Committed to upholding confidentiality, compliance, and patient safety across all functions.
Technology
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working in document control platforms, LMS systems, and QMS tools. Familiarity with Senderra’s pharmacy operations systems is preferred.
Flexibility & Autonomy:
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently. Comfortable managing a varied and dynamic workload across multiple priorities and deadlines.
Accreditation Oversight:
Maintain active and continuous accreditation status with URAC, ACHC, and VIPPS for both specialty and mail-order pharmacy operations. Lead all accreditation and reaccreditation efforts, including the development of documentation, staff readiness, and survey preparation. Serve as the primary liaison with accrediting bodies.
Audit & Inspection Readiness:
Ensure the organization is always in a state of readiness for scheduled and unannounced audits from accreditation organizations, payers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies. Coordinate internal audit programs, manage document control, and lead cross-functional audit response efforts.
