As a Clinical Psychologist with Guide Star Eldercare, you will help provide neuro‑behavioral health services to residents in long‑term care facilities, partnering with specialty clinicians to deliver holistic, continuity of care for the elderly affected by neurocognitive disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurologic and/or psychiatric diagnoses.

• Provide evaluation
• Establish differential diagnosis, e.g., Alzheimer’s vs. Parkinson’s vs. Vascular
• Conduct cognitive assessments
• Offer condition‑specific support therapy or, when indicated, insight‑based therapy
• Coordinate the patient’s care plan with the facility, PCP, and Guide Star colleagues, and engage with the family as indicated

• An active state Psychologist license

• Passion for the geriatric population and neurobehavioral science

• Desire to make a difference in a population struggling with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders

• An HSPP is preferred in applicable states
