Position Summary
Stryde Research is seeking a Community Outreach and Recruitment Support Specialist to play a pivotal role in growing awareness of our services and strengthening relationships across the DFW community. This role works closely with our recruitment team and serves as a key representative of Stryde Research in the community.
This is not a sales role. It is a neighbor-to-neighbor, relationship-driven position built on trust, friendliness, consistency, and clear communication. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, building long-term relationships, and supporting others while helping our clinic grow through community engagement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Build, strengthen, and maintain positive relationships with:
- Healthcare clinics and providers
- Provider office staff
- Community organizations
- Clients, patients, and families
- Represent Stryde Research throughout the DFW area by:
- Visiting doctors’ offices, community centers, schools, fairs, and local businesses
- Attending community events, health fairs, and local gatherings to increase visibility
- Occasionally Support the recruitment team by:
- Speaking with patients about current and upcoming clinical studies
- Sharing accurate and compassionate information about research opportunities
- Establish and maintain ongoing communication with referring providers and staff through:
- Routine and follow-up visits
- Emails and phone calls
- Share informational materials, referral resources, and clinic updates with community partners
- Assist with marketing and outreach tasks at community events, including:
- Distributing flyers and materials
- Taking photos
- Serving as a liaison between the clinic and the community
- Identify new outreach and partnership opportunities beyond existing contacts and pursue them with initiative
- Lead outreach initiatives to:
- Increase patient referrals
- Build volume
- Strengthen favorable provider and community perceptions
- Collect feedback from community members and partners and share insights with internal teams to better serve local needs
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Full-time position
- Flexibility required, as some community events may take place outside regular business hours
- Daily driving is required
- Excellent time management, organization, communication, and follow-through skills
- Consistent, dependable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable building relationships over time and growing influence within the community
- Recent or direct experience in a communication-focused role within a sales or marketing environment may substitute for education and/or experience requirements
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
