Base pay range

$17.50/hr - $19.50/hr

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aide

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care under the supervision of an RN, in accordance with the Aide Plan of Care.
  • Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
  • Communicate changes in patient condition and provide necessary documentation for continuity of care.
  • Promote respect, privacy, and dignity for each patient.
  • Assist with nutrition and hydration, ensuring proper patient care.
  • Adhere to infection control standards and agency policies to provide quality care.
  • Contribute to the agency’s success with effective time management and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Current CNA license.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • At least one year of experience preferred in a healthcare setting such as a hospital, nursing home, or hospice.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient welfare.
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
