Work hours:

PRN (As Needed) – Variable Hours

• Fast‑Paced, high‑complexity
• Collaborative team atmosphere dedicated to quality results and patient care
• Up to date instrumentation and automation

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency)
• Six months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy
• PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician upon hire preferred
• One year of hospital phlebotomy experience with specimen processing preferred

• Perform phlebotomy, specimen processing and limited outpatient services
• Follow laboratory procedures for handling and processing in a manner appropriate and following safety guidelines
• Handle unacceptable specimens according to laboratory procedures
• Follow established laboratory test procedures
• Perform procedures in other areas of the Laboratory as required by hospital entity
