Work hours:
PRN (As Needed) – Variable Hours
- Fast‑Paced, high‑complexity
- Collaborative team atmosphere dedicated to quality results and patient care
- Up to date instrumentation and automation
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency)
- Six months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy
- PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician upon hire preferred
- One year of hospital phlebotomy experience with specimen processing preferred
- Perform phlebotomy, specimen processing and limited outpatient services
- Follow laboratory procedures for handling and processing in a manner appropriate and following safety guidelines
- Handle unacceptable specimens according to laboratory procedures
- Follow established laboratory test procedures
- Perform procedures in other areas of the Laboratory as required by hospital entity
