Performance Improvement Engineer – Administration Services

Texas Health Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, TX 75231

Work hours:

Full Time Days, 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday, 8 hours daily. Typically, 8:00am‑5:00pm. Weekends depending on project.

Administration Services Department highlights
  • Works inside the hospital alongside other leaders to drive process improvement initiatives
  • No direct patient care responsibilities; focuses on identifying processes that enhance patient care
  • Collaborates with multiple hospital departments, including:
    Surgery, Emergency Department (ED), Engineering, Environmental Services (EVS), Nursing, Executive Team
Here’s What You Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or relevant field is required
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or relevant field is preferred
  • 5 years of experience leading organizational change and process improvement, including project management, change management, performance improvement
  • SSBB - Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) required;
    Master Black Belt preferred
What You Will Do
  • Generate change through influence using a proven framework to accelerate organizational transformation
  • Provide work groups, committees, and task forces with facilitation, educational, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Use effective chartering techniques to scope projects and link them to the organization’s strategic plan, KPIs, and key work processes
  • Work independently to complete projects on time, achieving milestones and deliverables
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of improvement methodology; use qualitative and quantitative data; deploy statistical process control for data analysis
  • Act as subject matter expert in change management and improvement/design; develop and deploy training materials; mentor partners
