Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln., TX 75231.

Work hours:

PRN, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; must be available a minimum of twice a month.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition or a related area.
  • 1 year of hospital inpatient experience with both enteral and parenteral nutrition.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) – minimum 6 months required.
  • Licensed Dietitian (LD) – minimum 6 months required.
Responsibilities
  • Utilizes each step of the Nutrition Care Process effectively and efficiently to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to assigned patient populations.
  • Promotes team work and supports organizational goals by demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and shift assignments; willingly takes on work to even out case load or meet schedule deadlines to cover essential shifts.
  • Promotes safe and effective care through effective communication and workflow practices, including the use of THR specific and High Reliability Organization (HRO) communication and safety strategies.
  • Promotes quality in practice through systematic measurement of outcomes, regular performance evaluations, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintains competence through ongoing self‑evaluation and study aimed at identifying and closing relevant professional knowledge and performance gaps.
