Home Health Medical Biller – Homecare Homebase

Homecare Homebase is searching for a Home Health Medical Biller who will be responsible for complete and accurate billing and collections of all claims submitted for payment to Medicare insurance health care programs.

• Processing, monitoring, and collecting Medicare claims in accordance with payor requirements.
• Verifying accuracy of billing data and revising any errors.
• Importing and posting payments from all payor types.
• Creating and distributing various financial reports as needed.
• Timely resolution of all claims including appeals.
• Following up on accounts for billing and on overdue accounts for collections via phone calls, re-submissions, and adjustments for billing errors.
• Working with personal information and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Highly organized individuals who display a strong attention to detail.
• Experienced billers with knowledge of DDE, Way Star/eSolutions, Ability, and other common clearinghouses.
• Analytical thinkers with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team players who are passionate about their work and will actively contribute to a positive, collaborative environment.
• Home health/hospice experience is preferred.
