Patient Account Representative

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) – Join a fast‑growing PT clinic network and support billing and collections from home. The role requires managing claims, addressing inquiries, resolving account issues, and following up on denials.

Remote, Full‑time (40 hours/week)

$18–$20 per hour, based on experience and state of residence.

• Timely follow‑up and resolution on unpaid, underpaid, or denied claims with all payors.
• Resolve denials and submit appeals.
• Respond promptly to billing inquiries from patients and insurance companies.
• Work open credits on the A/R.
• Collaborate with clinics to identify and resolve issues regarding outstanding account balances.
• Utilize the most efficient resources to secure timely payment of open claims.
• Research assigned correspondence and take necessary action to resolve requests.
• Ensure daily accomplishments contribute toward company goals for A/R.

• Minimum 2 years of medical accounts receivable experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience resolving payor denials.
• Understanding of medical claims processing.
• Experience with insurance systems.
• Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations as they relate to billing and collections (state and federal).
• Ability to read an Explanation of Benefits.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
