Medical Science Liaison - Cardiovascular - Boston, MA Territory

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based, customer-facing, non-promotional medical role focused on advancing clinical practice and improving patient outcomes within assigned territories, including Greater Boston and parts of Massachusetts.

• Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), discuss emerging data and clinical trial activities, identify unmet medical needs, and support medical strategy deployment.
• The MSL collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, HEOR, sales) and provides clinical trial support.
• Responsibilities also include territory planning, stakeholder identification, and medical insights collection.
• Travel of approximately 60-70% is expected; candidates must reside within or near the territory, possess a valid driver’s license, and comply with all regulatory and compliance policies.

• Graduate degree in science or healthcare (doctorate preferred, e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD).
• Experience varies by seniority level: 0-3 years for Manager, 3-5 years for Associate Director, with strong clinical knowledge, familiarity with FDA guidelines, and pharmaceutical industry experience.

• Prior experience in the therapeutic area related to the company's focus.

• Emphasis on therapeutic expertise, clinical research, stakeholder engagement, and compliance within a pharmaceutical context.

• Remote and field-based, with significant travel required.
