Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for greeting and registering guests, checking them out, and performing all related duties to the highest standards. You will input and retrieve information from the computer system, confirm guest details and room rates, select rooms, code electronic keys, assist guests with checkout, handle money, process credit and debit cards, accept and record various forms of payment, convert foreign currency, make change, and process gift certificates and cards.

You will demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information—including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area—and answer guest questions. You will use up‑selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, maximize room occupancy, respond to inquiries and requests, and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. You will field complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions to achieve guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

You have prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or prior experience in a high‑volume industry dealing with customers. You are passionate about providing guests with excellent customer service, thrive on ensuring guest satisfaction, and enhance their experience to make it memorable. You are seeking flexibility in a job that includes different shifts—days, evenings, and weekends—to fit your personal life.

You have excellent computer skills and a team spirit.
