Room Attendant at HEI Hotels & Resorts — Dallas, TX

The Stoneleigh, a storied landmark in prestigious Uptown Dallas, has recently completed a $20 million renovation and relaunched as part of Marriott's Autograph Collection. All 176 rooms and public areas have been refreshed, including the new Lions Den restaurant by James Beard–award–winning chef Michael White and the reimagined Bar Leonessa. As a Room Attendant at HEI Hotels & Resorts, you will help maintain the high standards that define this iconic property and ensure every guest enjoys a safe, clean experience.

Your primary responsibility is maintaining hotel rooms and building areas to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests, associates, and vendors. Key duties include:

• Cleaning bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning agents
• Stripping and making beds, changing linens, and lifting bedspreads weighing up to 50 lbs
• Dusting all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves
• Pushing and pulling vacuums throughout rooms and emptying trash
• Replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms
• Signing for room keys, retrieving carts, pushing them to assigned rooms, and restocking heavy carts
• Visually inspecting rooms for cleanliness and appearance, then signing off on completion
• Complying with attendance rules and working on a regular basis

You must be willing to pitch in and assist coworkers whenever needed. Additional job-related duties may be assigned as required.

To succeed in this role, you should have the ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend your arms overhead, and work in confined spaces. The position requires pushing and/or pulling equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Familiarity with chemical cleaning agents and the operation of various cleaning equipment is important. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt your communication style for supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
