The Pool Manager leads the daily operation of the poolside food and beverage outlet at The Knox, Auberge Collection. This hands-on role oversees service, team performance, and outlet readiness, creating a relaxed and polished experience for hotel guests and residents. The Pool Manager works closely with culinary, rooms, and other food and beverage leaders to deliver attentive service and support the outlet’s financial goals.

• Lead daily pool outlet operations, ensuring service areas are prepared, clean, and properly stocked.
• Welcome guests and maintain a visible presence throughout the outlet, responding promptly and discreetly to requests or concerns.
• Hire, train, schedule, coach, and support team members; set clear expectations for service and performance.
• Monitor food and beverage service, coordinate with culinary and bar teams, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Review reservations, seating, staffing, and outlet activity to support a smooth guest experience during busy periods.
• Support revenue goals through thoughtful recommendations, menu knowledge, and attentive service.
• Monitor labor, inventory, and operating expenses; follow procedures for cash handling, purchasing, and reporting.
• Ensure team members follow food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and workplace safety standards.
• Partner with hotel departments to coordinate pool operations, special events, guest requests, and service recovery.

• Prior supervisory or management experience in food and beverage, preferably in a hotel, resort, private club, or poolside setting.
• Strong guest-service, team-leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and remain composed during busy service periods.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory, labor management, and point-of-sale procedures.
• Current food-handler and responsible alcohol-service certifications, or ability to obtain them prior to start date as required.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes being on property weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
