We launched Acadomi, a new program that allows recent college graduates to jump‑start their careers in the IT staffing industry.
Training ProgramThrough Acadomi, starting January 2026, we grow our organization and provide hands‑on training, mentorship, and growth opportunities within our company. Recent Graduate candidates work full‑time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to gain a foundation in the IT recruiting industry—from best recruiting practices to account management. After completing the program, you will join one of our Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, Detroit, or Dallas offices.
Responsibilities- Participate in a 3‑month training program with experienced recruiters and account executives to boost your IT recruiting career.
- Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates.
- Gain experience in cold calling, interacting, and prospecting new business.
- Build a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role.
- Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates, passively or actively looking for employment.
- Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate’s technical experience and match to job opening.
- Format resume/submittal package to highlight candidate’s top skills for client review.
- Prepare candidate for phone and in‑person interviews by having in‑depth conversations surrounding technical scenarios and experience.
- Work closely with Account Executive to negotiate pay rates for consultants and clients.
- Meet minimum weekly metrics, including phone interviews and submittals to open jobs.
- 0‑1 years of professional experience – training provided.
- Drive and determination to succeed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to develop strong, genuine relationships with customers and consultants.
- Mac Book Pro or Mac Book Air computer.
- Will be part of a fundamental change in the staffing industry.
